According to a report from JCN Newswire, Toyota made a nationwide launch of the Blade compact hatchback to Toyota dealerships in Japan. Toyota said the name Blade "meant to suggest an automobile with a sharpness that fascinates people". The Japanese automaker also said the Blade is for stylish adults aimed to achieve an advanced styling, safety, and performance of a luxury sedan.The hatchback features bold exterior styling along with the high-quality interior materials and finish. Under the hood comes a 2.4-liter engine to power the hatchback and provide efficient dynamic performance. Other features standard features include VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) and TRC (Traction Control) systems, SRS side and curtain shield airbags and driver's seat SRS knee air bags.
